About Simila

A path built around relationship

Canine work, assistance, education and awareness practices are complementary perspectives on how living beings and systems can grow together.

The person behind the work

A woman, mother, educator, breeder and yogini

Simila’s work grows from a life shaped by dogs, family, education, inner enquiry and practical attention to quality of life.

01

Roots and openness

A challenging childhood and, at sixteen, a journey to South Africa marked the early stages of a path shaped by observation, independence and contact with different realities.

02

Family, dogs and education

Marriage, dogs and children brought personal and professional life together. Being a mother, educator and breeder made everyday life part of how she understands relationships.

03

Loss and renewal

The death of Rolando, her great love, marked a profound break. Yoga, meditation and nature supported her as she rebuilt her life; at 46, the arrival of her youngest child opened a new chapter.

Today Simila continues to seek a better quality of life through daily choices: in relationships with people and animals, in the body, in nature, in education and in the way care is practised.

Professional philosophy

Build understanding before applying solutions

Observation

Read behaviour, environment, needs and dynamics without reducing the case to a label.

Relationship

Consider the exchange between dog and person as a central part of the path.

Responsibility

Set realistic goals that respect wellbeing and can be sustained in daily life.

Personal exploration

Fasting as an experience of listening

Simila has been interested in food and fasting for more than ten years. In 2017, she undertook a nine-day fasting experience in Siberia’s Altai region with Sergej Filonov and the Siberika project.

As part of her personal practice, she continues to explore fasting on Ekadashi and in relation to lunar cycles, connecting it with yoga, meditation and contact with nature.

This experience is part of her personal journey. It is not a therapeutic offer, health consultation or invitation to fast.

Education and collaboration

From individual consultation to institutional work

Simila develops consultations, seminars, workshops and courses for dog owners, professionals, schools, associations and institutions.
